Description
From its first vintage in 2004 to today, this Gamaret-Pinot Noir blend has always been prized by lovers of ultra-fruity and full-bodied wines. When young, the latter will be very fruit-oriented: blackberries, blackcurrants, accompanied by aromas with tight tannins. These will then soften, become silky and develop tertiary aromas of cooked plum, leather and “smoky”. The result of 12 months of barrel aging, this growing complexity will reach its peak after a few years of aging.
With a dark garnet red color, expressing both the robustness of Gamaret and the finesse of Pinot Noir, this vintage delivers a feeling of prolonged pleasure in the mouth. Coming from the vines of the place called “Les Grand’ Vignes” and “Les Tires” in Auvernier, this blend is balanced and complex: it is a beautiful representation of these two great grape varieties.
