A favorite grape variety in the Bordeaux region, Merlot has found its place in Neuchâtel, particularly on our plot “Les Grand’ Vignes” on the hillsides of the commune of Auvernier. From this terroir, it draws its fruitiness and reveals a superb aromatic palette supported by supple tannins.
This Merlot, the fruit of 30 months of aging in oak barrels of different toast intensities, represents our desire to innovate. With the benefit of aromas of black fruits, the Merlot Grands Terroirs is expressed by notes of redcurrants, plums, new leather, undergrowth and spices.
Coming 100% from the vines of the place called “Les Grands’ Vignes” in Auvernier, this Merlot will surprise you as much by its exceptional aromatic intensity as by its silky texture in the mouth.
